Knowledge, the pathway to freedom, can be attained only through education. Sivagiri Vidyaniketan stands unique by perceiving Guru's ideal"Achieve freedom through education” and with the motto “Dream... Achieve.…and Lead...”

The school was started its glorious journey in 1973 as "Sadanam" under SN Charities, and thereafter headed by Sreenarayana Dharma Sangham Trust since1987, the organization was renamed as Sivagiri Vidyaniketan in1990. Its affiliation in 1992, made the school the first and fore most one in Aluva to follow Central Board of Secondary Education syllabus. The year 2005 was fortunate to witness its illustrious upgradation to the Higher Secondary level.
